Perhaps you’ve been wondering about my mysterious silence. Well, I’m in Hawaii. I’ve been here for nearly a week. Though I had these great ambitions about getting lots of writing done, there’s something about tropical paradise that makes you want to sit on the beach and do nothing. It’s great. Not productive. But great.

A couple from one of my poetry groups went to Hawaii a few months ago and both of them keep writing poems about it. It is a good place to get writing material. You might not be productive now, but you will be later.
